Paparoa Track

Fabulous hike on the Paparoa track. Lesley, our guide, was fabulous - knowledgeable and fun even when carrying a huge pack with all our food for the delicious meals.

The decision...to walk the Paparoa Great Walk was absolutely the right one. No question. We had Janae as our guide and she was superb. All logistics taken care of - shuttle, food, hut bunks etc not to mention Janae's knowledge ofthe area, the flora and any short detours that added to our experience. We made life long friends walking with us. We had such fun in our small group and we loved every moment.

Paparoa Walk is superb and... one of the most rewarding few days we have ever been on.

Fantastic multi-day hike with spectacular views, cool native plants, and rarely seen NZ birds. Can’t say enough good things about our guides, Summar and Otto. They made our trip truly memorable! Summar is very knowledgeable about the area’s natural and cultural history, including native plants and birds, and both Māori and historic mining histories. So many wonders, large and small, would have escaped our notice had she not pointed them out and shared their stories. I highly recommend , such a dedicated and professional team. Our thanks to all involved!

We had a fabulous experience. Janae our guide created culinary masterpieces that were the envy of all the other hut guests. She was absolutely delightful and knowledgeable. Janae turned a great walk into A Great Walk! Would do it again in a heartbeat

Fabulous walk with a wide range of terrain and experienced guides who showed us all kinds of things we would have missed without them. Plus the quality of the food! Loved the low-waste approach and range of meals and snacks. Really loved how they accommodated my fear of swinging swing bridges too and then there's that final day surprise... but I can't tell you anything more about that :)
