I just completed the 4 day, 3 night Lake Waikaremoana walk with Gil, Dan and Paula and it was a lot of fun. Well organised and flexible, I would do another walk with these guys in a heartbeat. Great to walk with like minded souls from all over the world too. Thanks for kicking my new year off to an awesome start

This was one of the best trips I have ever done, and everything about it exceeded my expectations. We were so lucky with the weather, having no rain for the entire trip, and good sunsets and sunrises when we needed to have them. The team looked after us with good food and drinks, plus the trip was a way to meet some really nice people, both on the trip and who we encountered independently doing the walk. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

The scenery was beautiful and it was made special by our guides who were friendly, helpful and their enthusiasm and passion for the environment was impressive. Our guides skills, extended to the kitchen and they whipped up very good food considering the cooking facilities. The Lake Waikeremoana walk is definitely worth doing.

Walking in Waikaremoana was truly an amazing experience! It is a perfect trip for someone who wants to get into the wilderness but needs a support team. Each days walk was different and exhilarating and the number of opportunities to swim in the crystal clear waters of the lakes was an added bonus. The lodge was clean and comfortable in a magnificent setting and the meals provided were as good as any 5 star restaurant. They were always served with a smile by the charming and friendly hosts.

Our family have just returned from a 4 day tramp around Lake Waikaremoana. What an experience! Sam, Paula, and Gil were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and snacks were excellent. Despite the heavy rain on the second day, and almost continual drizzle on the other days it didn't detract from what is an amazing and remote part of the country - if anything the rain added to the experience. As stated in other reviews take earplugs - it's worthwhile buying some good quality ones - there can be some heavy snoring in those huts!! We travelled with another family (who we knew) and two couples (who we didn't know). Great way to meet people. Can't recommend it highly enough! Thanks!!

Beautiful area - extremely diverse with good trail conditions and huts.

I had a fabulous time.... the hike, the group, the weather and last but not least the guides were great. The huts were basic but the guides made it unexpectedly luxurious with good food, guitar music and even a hot towel after a long day of climbing up.

I had a FABULOUS time!! That hike is one in a million - amazing flora - something very special. I would be happy to do it again. The young men (guides) that looked after us - Jamie, Sam & Callum are a real asset to your business. They could not be more helpful and caring of everyone on the hike. They loved what they do and it really shows.
