Southern Masterpiece

We truly enjoyed our Masterpiece Tour with Rachael and Emma. It met and exceeded our expectations. New Zealand is a beautiful country and during this tour we get to see so much of the South Island. The size of the group was a perfect size.

We absolutely could not be happier with our experience with New Zealand Trails. Everyone person we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Robyn and Becca were our contacts at the office, and they were extremely helpful guiding us through the online portal and answering every question we had. Our guides were also amazing. Ross and Faz were the best guides we have ever been on a tour with. Their positive attitudes, resourcefulness, and knowledge of all things Kiwi made a great trip fantastic. New Zealand is a beautiful, welcoming and inspiring country, and the folks at New Zealand Trails made it the trip of a lifetime for us!

As a first time visitor to NZ the Pure South trip was a terrific introduction. Loved every minute of the trip. The professionalism, knowledge and sense of humour from our guides Ross and Faz was outstanding.

My Masterpiece trip was above and beyond my expectations in many ways. Your stunningly beautiful country speaks for itself, one 'banger' view after another, and even the weather seemed determined to give us the best possible experience. What sets NZ Trails truly apart, though, is the carefully curated itinerary and our guides thoughtful, dedicated, tireless and passionate approach to delivery. Racheal and Emma went the extra mile (quite literally on occasion!) to ensure we were kept interested, informed, amused, exercised and very, very well fed. They were unwaveringly energetic and positive, pro-active in anticipating and being flexible to the individual needs of group members, and genuinely kind and caring. Racheal brought a wonderfully personal touch to our journey, conveying her passion for NZ, its flora and fauna and landscapes, on every drive and hike. Touchingly she shared beautiful produce from her own garden and kitchen. Warm, welcoming and with almost spiritual calm, it was as if we were long-time friends visiting her home. Emma is a remarkably proficient driver, hugely reassuring given the challenging roads and long journeys. Her calm, positive and capable manner never waivered even in difficult circumstances. Emma always seemed to know the exact moment to introduce one of her many stories, which whilst very funny also helped us better understand the NZ way of life. Endlessly energetic and fun, Emma brought a true spark to our Masterpiece experience.

The trip was wonderful! The views are unparalleled, and our guides were knowledgeable, kind, funny, and engaging.
