The trip was a great way to see the range of different terrain of the South Island without having to worry about logistics like driving and finding trailheads on my own! With great fall weather and wonderful new hiking buddies, this was an unforgettable adventure! On top of that, my guides were so much fun and had lots of history and stories to share along the way. Couldn’t have had a better trip.

It was very well organised, guides Koru and Carrie were very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and it was great to get a feel for what New Zealand is all about. I loved staying in some of the smaller, less known areas, and the choices of hikes were fabulous and really highlighted the beautiful nature in New Zealand. We also lucked into some great weather, especially for it being so close to winter, and I knew I was seeing some amazing sights when both guides were out snapping pictures right alongside us! This was definitely a trip of a lifetime and one I will always look back on with a huge smile on my face. I would come back in a heartbeat!

I will compare any vacation I may take in the future with this one and I cannot believe that anything will compare with the incredible scenery and exhilarating physical activity, in the setting of not having to drive, cook, or worry about anything. I ate well, slept well, and had so much fun with new friends. Nothing could be as Sweet As New Zealand.

Hard to pick a favorite day. Every part of the trip was a unique experience. We had fantastic guides and a really fun loving group of people to share the trip with. I think sharing the beauty and adventure of the trip with newly formed friends was my favorite part of the whole experience.

Beautiful country & amazing experience! A fantastic trip that covered most of the South Island with every day different to the next. Our Guides Dan & Amanda ensured everything ran smoothly which meant all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. And we did!

I had the best trip ever! Fabulous guides (Ken and Megan) and very knowledgeable about the country. The 2 week trip felt like a month since we did so many fun things everyday. How many people can say they hiked, biked, kayaked, snorkeled, rafted, flew in a helicopter and hiked on a glacier with crampons/ ice ax plus, was surrounded by beautiful mountains and the ocean. What an excellent time. I want to return soon.

I just wanted to express how much we enjoyed our trip in February. My highlight was seeing a Morepork up close and personal but others will tell you about the sea kayaking, the robust hiking, the snorkelling, the caving and biking but for me it was the flowers, the birds, the ferns the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and of course the vistas. Our guide was superb, so friendly and informed. An added bonus was the fabulous food. I not only had a great outdoor adventure but that I learned a lot about the history and culture of New Zealand. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to any out of doors enthusiast.

We had a terrific group of people and I haven’t laughed so much in years – something I hadn’t expected to do so much of on a hiking trip.
