I was not sure how this trip would go especially as we have quite an age gap between oldest and youngest child but it has exceeded all expectations and I’m sure we will be back.

Loved this trip! It was so much fun and it was really good how you could choose the amount of hiking you did, for example the adults could walk while us kids swam and played on the beach. Kath was amazing and super funny and was easy to talk to from the very start.

Had the best time and it was absolutely the best way to see New Zealand in all its glory. Our guide - Scott - was so multi-talented. Could cook, drive, guide, inform and sing songs around the camp fire. Highly recommend this tour for anyone thinking of visiting the real New Zealand.

I was looking for an activity that would include meeting new people, being active, enjoying great views but also learning more about the local environment. During my Far North experience I found this and more. Our guide, Scott, explained the surroundings with great enthusiasm and during the many steep parts of the biggest hiking day was a great motivator as well. He also provided me with great tips for future hikes.
The 6 day trip included lots of driving, but this was also a great time to get to know the people in the group. The group I was in was very small (total of 5) with different levels of hiking experience.
I would definitely recommend this activity if you're looking for a trip that focuses on enjoying hiking in the great NZ nature.
