This app compares millions of flights and hundreds of airlines. AllTrails

One of the most widely used hiking apps worldwide, AllTrails provides maps, route planning, trail reviews, and offline navigation. Perfect for exploring new tracks or checking trail conditions before you head out.

Map My Hike

Record each of your hiking sessions. This free app tracks data over time and shows your progress. It makes use of the GPS sensor and the app collects data such as pacing, elevation distance and route. It even shows you the calories burned based on an estimate of the hike’s difficulty, just in case you need justification for the chocolate snacks.

This app is awesome for star gazers and those who want to become one. All you have to do is point your phone at the sky and it will tell you exactly what star formation you are looking at. This amazing app even works during daylight, as the data is provided making use of accurate GPS locations.
