Great walks - keep it simple. Most of these trips are one multi-day hike, start to finish, in one splendid wilderness area of New Zealand. After all hiking is the best way to see our beautiful landscapes and explore vast wilderness areas.
Generally our Great Walks are lodge to lodge hiking, carrying just a day pack and at the end of each day there is often the option of a glass of wine. On some Great Walks there are ensuites each night with the option to have a single room, whilst others are hut to hut along the Great Walk trail.
Each Great Walk is led by one or two guides who are passionate about the wilderness area in which you are walking and they share their love for the surrounding flora, fauna and natural history.
If some of the world's best walks matched with comfortable beds in the evening and your meals all sorted for you sounds good, then we are certain to have a trip for you.
“We enjoyed the informative and fun approach of the guides, as well as amazing food (supplying Gluten free diet was no problem at all), stunning scenery, great lodges and awesome bunch of fellow travellers. Jetboating and Helicopter were such fun, and also glad we chose to stay night before and after in Te Anau, so we could explore this pretty town.” J – New Zealand. January 2018, Trip Advisor
“The whole three day walk with transfer transport, accommodation and food was excellent and was superbly organised by the company. Pre-visit planning was clear and accurate and we were so lucky with the weather as well - largely warm sunshine, blue skies and a cooling breeze when required. The boat trip to the start of our walk was a great way to see the coastline” Graeme54-11 – UK, April 2018, Trip Advisor
