We take interns for terms of 5 months or longer and provide them with the great experience of working for a real New Zealand hiking company.
As an intern you will be learning heaps about the background operations of a hiking tour operator. We will also provide you with the opportunity to explore the New Zealand outdoors, joining one of our epic hiking tours.
You will spend most of your working days (9am till 5pm) in the Hiking New Zealand office in the heart of Rangiora.
Occasional days you will spend at the Base where you will be helping out with setting up and organising our vehicles and trailers before the hiking trips.
Some days you will be out in the New Zealand wilderness, hiking in this beautiful country and experiencing first-hand what kiwi-style hiking really means.
As an intern at Hiking New Zealand you will experience a wide variety of roles. Many of your daily tasks will be marketing related and consist of taking care of the company’s social media and website. You will take on tasks such as researching new products and assisting with administrative roles such as accounting.
