Whilst hiking and travelling around New Zealand's it is important to follow a few simple steps to help minimise your impact on our beautiful natural environment.

In order to spread the word on the simple rules to follow in New Zealand's wilderness, we summarised the Environmental Care Code we follow in a comprehensive Infographic. 

The Department of Conservation, with input from various other conservation and user groups have created the Water Care Code, the 'Leave no Trace' Care Code and the Activity Minimal Impact Care Code
